This is a special casting call for families who want to preserve the meaningful moments happening right now.
We’re creating new imagery for our website and studio materials, and we’re selecting a limited number of families to participate.
Selected families receive a complimentary consultation, a guided portrait session, and a $200 studio credit toward artwork.
All participants must sign a model release. Images may be used on our website, social media, and marketing materials.
Completing the application does not guarantee selection. Families are chosen based on story, availability, and fit for this project.

What to Expect
Our portrait style is warm, timeless, and centered on connection. We guide you through everything from wardrobe to posing so your images feel natural and meaningful.
This project is all about capturing the real moments that define your family’s story. Whether your child is shy, bold, silly, or somewhere in between, we create portraits that feel true to who they are.
We're hoping to photograph families who are experiencing a meaningful stage of life, such as:
A newborn’s first weeks
A toddler’s last traces of babyhood
A child losing a tooth
A new sibling joining the family
A tween or teen entering a new chapter
A senior preparing to leave home
A family experiencing a transition or new beginning
We want to create portraits that feel honest, emotional, and timeless.

Childhood moves quickly, and the moments we think we’ll remember forever often pass before we realize it. This project is about preserving those fleeting chapters — the tiny details, the big milestones, and the everyday expressions that become part of your family’s legacy.
How Selection Works
We review applications based on your story, milestone moment, and availability. If selected, you’ll be invited to a consultation to plan your session. All participants must sign a model release for image use in our website and marketing materials.
The Ultimate Reward
Selected families receive a complimentary consultation, a guided studio session, a credit toward artwork, and the chance to be featured in our website and marketing materials. Additional artwork is available for purchase but never required.
Image Use & Opportunities
Images may be featured on our website, social media platforms, printed studio materials, and a variety of promotional campaigns that highlight the heart of our work. You will always be notified in advance of any major uses so you know exactly where your family’s images may appear.

How do I apply to the project?
It’s easy. Just complete the questionnaire on this page. It asks about your children, the stage your family is in, any milestones you want to remember, your availability, and your comfort level with image use.
Once you submit the form, we review each questionnaire individually and reach out to families who are the best fit for the project.
How are participants selected?
We look at each family’s story, the artistic needs of the project, and the variety of subjects we are hoping to include. If you are selected, you will receive an email with next steps.
What do accepted participants receive?
You will receive a complimentary design consultation, a guided portrait session, and a $200 credit toward artwork. Additional artwork is available for purchase if you choose but not required.
Do I have to sign a model release?
Yes. The release allows us to use the images for this project and related studio uses. We will go over everything with you before your session so you can ask questions.
How may my images be used?
Images may be used to advertise 505 Photography and may also appear in galleries, books, or online publications. If you have concerns about specific uses, just let us know on the form or during your consultation and we will talk through options.
